3D Everest & Himalaya Map Framed | True Scale Relief in 3 Colours | A5

3D Everest & the Himalaya, Framed

150 km of the Himalaya around Everest at true scale, with no exaggeration: the mountains really are that steep. Printed in three colours that change at real heights, green-brown in the valleys below 3,000 m, grey rock up to the snowline at 5,300 m and white snow above, with the summit of Everest marked by a small ring.

Made from the ESA Copernicus 30 m elevation model. Tibet's plateau to the north, the deep valleys of Nepal to the south.

How we make it

Built from the real mission data, checked against the official published positions and heights before printing, and 3D printed in-house on our own Bambu Lab printers at 0.12 mm layers in matte PLA. The fine layer lines you can see in the close-up are part of the look of a real print.

Every 3D printed piece is made to order on our own Bambu Lab printers in our UK studio, from Bambu Lab PLA in the colours you choose.

Material: Bambu Lab PLA, printed at 0.12 mm layers for a smooth finish
Lettering: raised 1 mm in a second colour, part of the print (not a sticker or paint)
Strength: shatterproof and lightweight, safe on a tree with pets or children about
Care: wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth; keep out of direct sun and away from heat (PLA softens above about 55°C)
