Twelve shades of tea laid out like a paint card, from barely brewed to stand-your-spoon-up, each one named the way your region would say it. Hang one by the kettle and everyone can point to their tea strength.
There are brew colour charts for Yorkshire, Lancashire, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham, London, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Cornwall, Norfolk and the north in general, plus kitchen charts for gravy, toast, chippy tea, coffee, Yorkshire puddings and the full English.
Matching sets of three
Every regional brew chart also comes in a set with the word map and letterpress print from the same region, all the same size: Yorkshire, Lancashire, Manchester, Scouse (Liverpool), Geordie (Newcastle), Brummie (Birmingham), Cockney (London), Scottish, Welsh, Irish, Northern Irish, Cornish and Norfolk.
Every dialect word on the brew charts was checked against at least two independent dialect sources before it went on a print. The kitchen charts are our own jokes, so there is nothing to translate.
A brew chart makes an easy housewarming gift, or a present for someone who moved away and misses a proper cuppa. Printed in the UK on 180gsm lustre paper, from A5 to A2, or framed from A5 to A3. More in kitchen wall art and the regional sayings range.
